Inside the diffuser, is a small glass bottle that can hold a wick that holds essential oil. You may add a cotton wick or Himalayan Sea Salts into the glass bottle. Your essential oil does not touch plastic.

To change the scent, simply remove the wick (or cotton); add a new wick (or cotton) and add your oils.
